Pipes

  • PPR for hot and cold water supply (heat-fused joints).
  • uPVC/PVC for drainage and sewer.
  • Keep hot lines separate and insulated where possible.

Tanks and pressure

  • Underground tank with a pump to an overhead tank.
  • A pressure pump if upper floors have weak flow.

Drainage

  • Correct slope on sewer lines, with cleaning eyes at bends.
  • Separate rainwater lines from sewer where the scheme allows.
